Addiction can sometimes help us avoid dealing with uncomfortable feelings, or they can just simply prevent us from being ourselves.
Those suffering from any form of dependency desperately want to move forward with their lives, feeling free to make better choices. Allowing themselves the opportunity to live normal, happy and healthy lives.

As someone qualified to an advanced level within my profession, I’ve helped many people to overcome addiction, and hypnotherapy can play an important part in breaking habits and instilling new more positive beliefs and coping strategies. It also makes sense to resolve where necessary any unresolved issues which may have played a part in forming the addiction in the first place.
Shock and trauma often lurk behind addiction, there can also sometimes be past events which provide negative reminders and memories, if left unresolved these can manifest themselves both at a conscious and unconsciously level.
Together we will find a safe space for you to work through your feelings, enabling you to release the pain and negative self-belief that can often erode our ability to overcome addiction by ourselves.

Fifteen years in China living with spiders the size of dinner plates did not cure my arachnophobia.
