Could hypnotherapy and the work I do with eye movement therapy be the answer?
We can all experience low mood from time to time and this is just simply part of life. However, depression can last for weeks or even months and it is this more constant state of feeling low that doctors describe as depression. The symptoms can be numerous, although of the people I have helped within my practice, there is a common theme of feeling hopeless and a lack of self-worth, self-confidence and/or self-belief.
Of the symptoms, it effects men and women in different ways, although there are many similarities including sleep issues, cognitive ability, aches, pains, and often these can be coupled with digestive issues and fatigue.
In both Males and Females there can be thoughts of suicide, with men being more likely to commit suicide, the statistics show that men account for 75% of the deaths that occur.
It is important that you understand that I personally have had my own personal challenges with low mood and suicidal thoughts, along with a great deal of experience on a professional level.
On a personal level, I have found a way to manage my mood better, that coupled with resolving the way I feel about significant emotional events has been pivotal in ensuring that I am more resilient and robust than I have perhaps been at any other time in my life.

As with any subject matter, there can be any number of reasons why we think and feel the way that we do. Of those I have worked with and helped, I find that unresolved trauma, PTSD and/or significant emotional events are the starting point for the most successful therapeutic to begin.
When looking at the major causes of depression, high on the list will be the breakdown of relationships, past physical abuse, and other personal problems. I have a range of skills at my disposal including Clinical Hypnotherapy, Eye Movement Therapy, Neuro-linguistic programming.
Where depression is concerned, using Eye Movement Therapy to resolve the past is key. Rather than letting past events define us, it is better that we use them to shape us and I’m skilled in helping your mind see things from a more positive perspective.
My skills set, knowledge and experience are unique, and I have countless successes to share along with people prepared to share how I made a difference in their lives.
The vast majority of my work is done online, and we are able to work remotely via a webcam on Skype, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
