I’ve utilised my skills as a hypnotherapist to help a great many people with addiction, and I can evidence these successes.
As humans, we have the ability to become addicted to just about anything, and in my professional experience an addiction will often help us to avoid more pressing matters in our lives which need resolving.
Dr. Gabor Maté is a renowned addiction specialist, and he has written numerous books and papers on the subject of addiction. He’s helped a great many addicts and he is without doubt someone which I respect greatly within his field of expertise.
There is an important element often overlooked by some hypnotherapists and the wider medical profession as a whole, and that is trying to just simply treat the addiction without resolving the why!
As a therapist that has successfully helped clients to finally overcome their addiction after many years and several attempts, it comes as no surprise as to why the addiction started when you are armed with this valuable information. Let’s resolve past trauma and provide the individual with the strongest chances of success, rather than putting a sticking plaster over the issue.
Those suffering from any form of dependency desperately want to move forward with their lives, feeling free to make better choices. Allowing themselves the opportunity to live normal, happy and healthy lives free from addiction. I’m proud of my track record with helping people to positively change their lives and this includes a number of addicts, by using a cutting edge blend of Advanced Hypnotherapy, NLP, Coaching and The BLAST Technique®
Let me help you to regain control?.
As someone qualified as an advanced hypnotherapist, there are few within my profession, that have studied to this level, or whom have worked with the number of addicts I have. Having helped a great many people to overcome addiction, I know that hypnotherapy can play an important part in breaking habits and instilling new more positive beliefs and coping strategies. It also makes sense to resolve where necessary any unresolved issues which may have played a part in forming the addiction in the first place. As I’ve stated already, one of the best ways in which to achieve this, is through Eye Movement Therapy, which really does have to be seen to be believed, and it’s a safe, simple and swift way to process negative memories from our past, In many ways, this is an eyes open form of hypnosis.
Shock and trauma often lurk behind addiction, there can also sometimes be past events which provide negative reminders and memories, if left unresolved these can manifest themselves both at a conscious and unconsciously level.
Together we will find a safe space for you to work through your feelings, enabling you to release the pain and negative self-belief that can often erode our ability to overcome addiction by ourselves.
Through my work as an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, I’m able to play a positive role in helping those that seek help. If you are looking to end an addiction, then allow me to support you.
Remember, I’m able to help either in person at York Clinic for Integrated Healthcare, which is located on Tadcaster Road in York, North Yorkshire. Alternatively, we can utilise online hypnotherapy and the other skills I have at my disposal, to work remotely via a webcam on Skype, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
So, if your looking for a skilled hypnotherapist, with a wealth of experience in treating addiction, we can either meet in person, within a Covid secure environment or I can offer hypnotherapy online wherever in the world you might be.
The number of sessions required to successfully resolve an addiction, will vary from person to person and the complexities of why and where the addiction began, will play a part this.
